It is our policy to collect and store only personal information that is knowingly provided to us. This Privacy Policy explains MAC’s practices regarding the collection of information that can personally identify you and/or your organization and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used by MAC.

*MAC has a separate Nondisclosure and Confidential Nature of Work policy related to the use of information collected by MAC with respect to services provided to persons served by MAC. This Privacy Policy applies solely to the data collected by MAC and its third-party providers such as charity auction websites and Constant Contact, for email and other communications, transactions related to events, fundraisers and promotion of MAC as well as the use of the MAC website (the “Services”).

If you choose to use the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in the manner contemplated by this policy. The personal information MAC collects with respect to the Services is used for providing and improving the Services. MAC will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal information

MAC and its third-party providers collect phone numbers, email addresses and mailing addresses for people participating in MAC-related activities, events and fundraisers. We may use your phone number, email and mailing addresses to provide you with the Services and to send you electronic or printed communications about MAC, event information, promotional information or financial requests. You may choose at any time to not provide personally identifiable information, although this may restrict our ability to provide you with requested services or information.

MAC may provide your personal information to certain third parties as required or authorized by law. Otherwise, MAC does not distribute personal information or email addresses to third parties without your prior authorization, except as described in this Policy.

You can select to disable cookies by changing your browser settings. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you will be able to access portions of MAC’s website content.

MAC uses the non-personal information collected through MAC’s website to analyze and evaluate the features and functionality of the Services on MAC’s website and to further develop and improve the Services. MAC does not share non-personal information collected through MAC’s website with third parties.
