Your DNA may spark answers! SPARK (Simons Powering Autism Research) and the University of Minnesota want to speed up research and advance the understanding of autism. It’s simple. It’s free.
Minnesota is higher than the national average with 1 in 42 children diagnosed with autism (the national average is 1 in 59). We want to help the process of speeding up research by encouraging families to participate in this largest autism study ever done in the U.S.
Catch Autism Family Day at the Children’s Museum of Minnesota on November 2 from 10am – 2pm to learn more and/or to register for the nation’s largest autism genetics study. Please note that this is not a MAC event, but we support the cause.
For more information about this event or the study, call (612) 624-0116 or email spark-mn@umn.edu. You can also learn more at sparkforautism.org/uminnesota.
