Celebrating New Leadership at MAC Midwest

Introducing a New Chapter of Leadership at MAC Midwest

By Andrea Vasquez MBA, LICSW | Chief Operating Officer

Leadership isn’t just a role. It is a responsibility to listen, adapt, and lead with purpose. As we continue to grow, we are reimagining what leadership looks like and where it happens.

We are excited to introduce a new structure designed to bring leadership even closer to our teams, families, and communities. Our updated model features three Regional Operations Directors (RODs), each dedicated to one of our core regions: North, South, and Metro. Each ROD brings deep knowledge of their region and a commitment to practical, people-first leadership that centers the well-being of both staff and the individuals we serve.

We are also adding Center Directors and Supervisors to each site, making sure every team is supported by leaders who are present, connected, and empowered to make decisions in real time.

Why it matters:
     • Stronger day-to-day support for staff, learners, and families
     • Clearer communication and faster collaboration
     • Leadership that is local, responsive, and aligned with care

These changes move us closer to our ongoing commitments:
     • Strengthening local support
     • Growing access to care for more families
     • Creating a workplace where people thrive
     • Operating with sustainability and heart

Meet Our Regional Operations Directors:

Brittany Thompson – North Region

Brittany has been part of the MAC Midwest family for 13 years. She began her career as a Behavior Therapist in St. Cloud and has since held a variety of roles including Lead Therapist, Office Manager, Intake Specialist, Clinical Trainer, and Regional Director. She brings a unique blend of clinical and operational experience to her role as ROD for the North Region.

Brittany is currently pursuing her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and enjoys reading, baking, nature walks, and spending time with her partner, dog, and backyard chickens.

Angie Jones – Metro Region

Angie brings more than 20 years of experience in human services, with leadership roles in group homes, home health, and day programs across Indiana and Minnesota. Since joining MAC in 2020, she’s played a key role in supporting all 22 centers across the Midwest. As ROD for the Metro Region, Angie will continue building strong relationships with teams and families while helping expand services to more communities.

Outside of work, she enjoys life on her Appleton, MN farm with her husband Bill, adult children Emily and Nick, grandson Theo, and dogs Ollie and Sammie.

Bryn Jarcho – South Region

Bryn joined MAC in 2016 as a Behavior Therapist, later transitioning into the Billing Department and then serving as a Regional Director in 2023. His experience across both frontline services and backend operations brings a well-rounded perspective to his role as ROD for the South Region.

Bryn is passionate about helping centers grow, supporting staff teams, and ensuring high-quality care reaches families across Southern Minnesota and beyond.

Looking Ahead

We’re excited to move forward with this new structure and grateful to the leaders stepping into these roles. Their passion, experience, and dedication will help guide us into a new chapter grounded in connection, collaboration, and community.
