Duluth Therapy Center

 

The Duluth location currently services ages 2 to 21. The majority of the current clients work in individual therapy rooms, and therapeutic services are often delivered in a 1:1 client to therapist ratio. There are also larger breakout spaces to allow for group programming and tolerance to working with others around them. The focus of programming includes multiple avenues including early intervention up through adaptive tasks and focus on transitioning into a less intrusive setting.

Eden Prairie Therapy Center

 

The Eden Prairie Center is an early intervention service center. We serve clients aged 2-14. Therapeutic services are most often provided on a 1:1 client to therapist ratio with various opportunities for group learning/activities built in to the therapeutic curriculum. There are also group therapy rooms available for children who are working on transitioning to lesser restrictive settings. Although the range of skills varies greatly, the primary focus of treatment for most clients at Eden Prairie is emotional regulation, functional communication and group readiness.

The MAC School - Minnesota Autism Center


 

Eagan Building A

 

Eagan Center A is set up to look and feel like a typical school setting, however it is a full-time therapeutic program. Clients are in groups of similarly aged peers and attend group learning sessions together to increase their ability to learn while surrounded by peers. Most of the clients are in 2:1 client to therapist ratio to increase client independence and promote peer socialization. This location serves clients aged 8- 13.

Eagan Building B

 

Eagan Center B is designed to serve clients from ages 14 to 21. Clients work with behavioral therapists individually and within a group setting (classroom style learning). Each client has an Individual Treatment Plan geared specifically towards the skills they are gaining and building. Within the group setting clients can engage with group members to learn more about different educational areas including social, language, executive functions, motor, play, adaptive, and primary concepts. The goal is to provide support and skill building so clients are better able to transition to school and community settings. Families can engage in the therapeutic process through Family Skills training.

Mankato Therapy Center

 

Mankato Center serves kids aged 2-18. Our center is focused is on group therapy with 2 to 6 clients working on individual programming. We also have individual spaces for clients needing fewer distractions. We currently provide both early intervention and adaptive programming. Additionally, Mankato offers several group learning experiences and has recently added a school transition focused group and a vocational skills focused group.

SDC Fridley is a Skills Development Center for clients aged 12 to 21.  SDC Fridley consists of 5 group rooms with 4-6 clients in each space in order to facilitate group learning. Our clients are learning skills through the Essential for Living Curriculumwhich is designed for clients who are moderate to profoundly affected by autism. The curriculum teaches functional skills to help our clients be as independent as possible while still getting all their immediate needs met.

Skills Development Center II


 

Woodbury Therapy Center

 

Woodbury Center services children ages 2-12, with programming focused on early intervention, adaptive skills, and school/group learning readiness. Clients typically begin in an individual room with an individual therapist.  For clients with a goal of school-readiness or transition to a MAC setting geared toward social learning, clients may eventually work in a shared space with multiple peers and therapists.
