We are your partner on the journey
Founded in 1996 by parents who sought the very best treatment available to deliver opportunities to children and adolescents living with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), Minnesota Autism Center (MAC) provides therapeutic services for children ages 18 months to 21 years who have ASD.
Our services utilize several therapeutic modalities, including applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy. MAC’s services are center-based and in-home, and include speech and occupational therapy, assessment and diagnosis services, and individual and family therapy. At any given time, MAC serves approximately 370-400 clients throughout Minnesota at 10 centers located in Eagan, Eden Prairie, Fridley, Minnetonka, Woodbury, Duluth, Mankato and Rochester.
The Minnesota Autism Center’s mission is to provide center-based therapeutic services for children and adolescents affected by autism spectrum disorder (ASD), promote the general education and welfare of persons challenged by ASD and support the development of healthy families.
Our team of behavioral therapists, clinical staff and licensed mental health professionals are here for you, ready to make a difference. These team members include doctorate-level psychologists, licensed social workers, licensed marriage and family therapists, and licensed professional clinical counselors.
Our focus is on supporting youth with ASD and their families in order to live a healthy and happy life. That’s it. That is our niche.
Our relationship with you
Your child is not just a client here at MAC—he or she becomes a member of the MAC family. We value relationships and are here for you throughout your journey. Our families have dedicated professionals at each center to guide them and answer questions. Our parent Advisory Council (PAC) is comprised of MAC parents from each center whose main purpose is to create activities to support, inform and engage MAC families. We know that ASD can be overwhelming at times; we make it a priority to put your mind at ease and offer comfort and resources that can help you.
