My School District Tells Me That They Do ABA. Is It SImilar to What MAC Offers?

Not all ABA is created equal.  MAC provides the level of ABA services that are supported by over 700 independent research studies.  The common themes in these studies are one-on-one treatment that is conducted for an intensive amount of time; up to forty hours per week initially.  Many school districts and other autism service providers state that they provide ‘ABA’ since educated parents realize that ABA is a critical ingredient to their child’s success.   Unfortunately, having ABA provided in a group environment or for a few hours a week has not proven to provide the life-changing results demonstrated by the intense, one-on-one ABA therapy delivered by MAC’s specialists.
