Do Children Served by MAC Lose Their ASD Diagnosis?

Absolutely!  We have had tremendous success in bringing children and adolescents with autism to their optimal potential. For a select number of kids, this means losing the autism diagnosis altogether; for many more, they develop their abilities to a point where they are “indistinguishable from their peers” although they still have an autism diagnosis.  Keep in mind that autism is a life-long diagnosis for most children regardless of the quality and intensity of their treatment.  At MAC, we use the most highly trained and skilled staff in the Upper Midwest to help your child develop to the best outcome that he/she can achieve.
